Given how long PC gamers have been waiting to play this, however, as much as I’d love to see it release alongside the PS5’s version, I’ve waited this long… I think I can manage a little longer. Not, incidentally, that we’re surprised by this news as it seems the PS5 updated release of Final Fantasy 7 Remake has also seen that PC release pushed back another 6 months. It is being suggested that while Bloodborne Remastered will release for the PS5 before the end of the year, this will be a timed exclusive to the platform and, as such, PC gamers are likely going to have to wait a little before they get to try it out. With, however, something of a catch almost certainly attached to it though. The game is one of the few From Software. According to Respawn First, a PC version of Bloodborne may be in development. Now it looks like Bloodborne might be following suit.
Games like Horizon Zero Dawn and Death Stranding have been making headlines for coming to PC. Better still, though, the source is also claiming that the PC port of the game, arguably one of the most requested ports of all time, is also in development. No matter what the detractors say, Bloodborne coming to PC is excellent news. Why? Well, the hugely requested PC port of the game might also be on the way too! Bloodborne RemasteredĬoming from a highly reliable source (with a very good track record of being proven accurate), this new leak claims that FromSoftware is already well into development of the Bloodborne Remaster for the PS5, with a release likely set to happen possibly before the end of this year. Will it ever be re-released for the PS5 though? Well, following a report via DSOGaming, a fresh source is claiming that this will indeed be the case with work on a ‘Remaster’ already well underway. It was, quite literally, one of those titles that fell into the ‘must play’ category for the system.

He also mentions how this might be part of a general trend we’ll see from Sony in the coming years, releasing their PS4 games on PC (Horizon was the first “test” in that sense), which I think is actually smart on their end, basically getting buttloads of money from older games that have been long shipped and successful on the console, now finding a new audience and more money.

Also, this means Mod Support, which Fromsoft games benefit hugely from. I would never want to go play it on a PS4 at an atrocious 30fps, bad loadtimes and frametimes. Fromsoftware games are phenomenal, Sekiro is my 2019 GOTY and one of the best games I’ve every played, but consensus always seems to point to Bloodborne still being Fromsoft’s best work to date, so personally, as a PC user, I’m very hopeful this is real and true so I can finally get to play it. Now, if this is true, I’m gonna be the most goddamn ecstatic.

I’ve been following this channel for a while and he’s very reasonable, primarily focused on PC but generally gets a lot of things right.Īnd apparently he’s had sources tell him Bloodborne PC is coming in full 60fps glory.
